TCR Engineering Services (TCR), founded in 1973, is India's leading ISO 17025 and NABL accredited independent material testing laboratory servicing 1500 customers globally. Leveraging the relationships with customers at our laboratory, TCR started providing sourcing services in 2004. TCR covers the entire sourcing process from finding the right suppliers to transferring the design specifications. TCR will setup the right supply chain and logistics control, ensuring that the shipment meet all export guidelines. Finally our strength and deep domain expertise in material testing and inspection services helps maintain quality control on all shipments. TCR can source, inspect and test ferrous and non-ferrous metals, casting & forging, sheet metal, bar, pipe, stainless steel, nuts, bolts, engineering goods, non-metallic materials such as polymer, ceramic, glass, machined parts, and machine tool components from India.
TCR is looking to recruit a Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing effort across India based on the unique requirements of our international clients. The primary responsibility of the candidate is to aggressively lead and guide sourcing initiatives and engage the supply base to meet deliverables, including quality, delivery, and cost.
The Sourcing Manager has responsibility for assessing current and proposed supplier organizations for ability to provide the sourcing services clients of TCR with quality products at competitive costs and must cross-sell the company's QA and inspection services.
The Sourcing Manager, with the input and approval of all required internal and external parties, and within budget; this position has the ultimate responsibility for designing, communicating, implementing, monitoring, and (if necessary) re-designing the critical processes required to ensure that manufacturing meets customer expectations.

Requirement:
Requires 5+ years experience, including good strategic sourcing experience working with and developing suppliers in Asia, knowledge of contract requirements and strong negotiation skills. Must have 4-year BS/BA/BE degree. 5-7 years of Sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment. International sourcing experience a plus. Must be comfortable in a team environment. Total Quality Culture Oriented. Superior leadership and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously with little or no supervision. Must have knowledge of determining pricing for services. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and E-mail is absolutely required.
