Nov 2007 - TCR Arabia starts work at a customer site in western Saudi Arabia for PWHT using electric reistance method.

TCR start ToFD Project
Oct 2007 - TCR Arabia, a TCR Engineering Services company based in Saudi Arabia started work on Automated UT using ToFD at a customer site in Petrorabigh, Saudi Arabia. TCR has also bagged a project in Kuwait to conduct Helium Leak Testing for 19 heat exchangers.

TCR wins Award
Sept 2007 - TCR Engineering Services won the prestigious NIIS Award for Excellent Laboratory from NACE International India Chapter.

Crevice Corrosion Study and RoHS
Aug 2007 - TCR Engineering Services presents a technical paper on crevice corrosion study for in-wall shield of the ITER Nuclear Reactor. TCR also inducts new members into its advisory board. A senior member of the TCR ROHS team conducted a RoHS compliance test at Emerson Climate Technologies in Satara, India

ToFD at Petrorabigh and KOC
July 2007 - TCR Arabia, an associate company of TCR in KSA gave a demo of ToFD to all EPC contractors and Level III personnel of PetroRabigh in Saudi Arabia. TCR received an appreciation letter for a ToFD demo in PetroRabigh, KSA. TCR-KIL started a ToFD project at Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) as per AP 650 appendix U.

Central Procurement Services
June 2007 - Hindustan Unilever Limited asks TCR Engineering Services to present a plan on Central Procurement Services of Engineering Goods. Senior Consultants of TCR provide a solution based a active contact center that leverages HUL's current software applications.

HIC and SSC testing
May 2007 - TCR-KIL, an associate company of TCR in Kuwait wins a large order for HIC and SSC testing for sour gas applications as per NACE TM 0284 and TM 0177. TCR continues to expand its corrosion testing facilities. TCR in India bags work for HIC and SSC testing from Enerflex, Canada as well as Jutal, China.

Investment Drive
April 2007 - TCR prepares internal company documentation to seek capital investment for outside sources. Company intends to use additional funds to fuel its global plans.

Further International Expansion
March 2007 - TCR is bidding on ToFD (Advanced UT using Time of Flight) in Spain and Saudi Arabia.

GSM/CDMA Tower Inspection
February 2007 - TCR has received a letter of intent from one of India´s largest cellphone providers to conduct Third Party Inspection for material procurement in China as well as Cell Phone / Mobile Tower Construction Inspection in India.

November 2006 - TCR is pleased to introduce a advanced recruiting portal for NDT and Inspection Jobs.

Innovating NDT
October 2006 - TCR continues to advance its NDT related service offering with the addition of Time-of-Flight Diffraction (TOFD) instrument OmniScan MX from Olympus. TCR has also acquired the new Panametrics-NDT EPOCH LT flaw detector. Senior Engineers from TCR have undergone TOFD training in Canada.

During this month, one of our senior metallurgists was also commissioned by Unilever in Bangaldesh to inspect their boilers and take part in discussions with the Unilever Boiler Expert from U.K.

Protecting our environment
September 2006 - Comprehensive RoHS compliance testing facilities are now operational. Tests are now conducted using XRF alloy analyzers on Metals, Electronics, Soils, Mining, Minerals, Woods, Paints & Coatings, Oils & Liquids, Thin Films and Hazardous Waste Materials to detect Hazardous Materials.

New Client Wins
August 2006 - TCR continues to expand its client base in Kuwait with the signing of a long term engagement with a major oil refinery in Kuwait. A NDT works project is won at a plant shutdown project at the client NPCIL in Kota, Rajasthan, India. Talks commence of a number of new joint ventures in South America and other parts of Middle-East.

TCR in Malaysia
PMI project with Petronas
July 2006 - TCR Engineering starts work on a Positive Material Identification project on-site at Petronas, Malaysia with Larsen & Toubro Limited using portable XRF based spectrometers and qualified inspection engineers.

NDT Inspectors travel to Middle-East
Late June 2006 - Deployment and Staffing of qualified NDT Inspection Level II and III engineers to a leading company in Saudi Arabia.

New Test Equipment Added
May 2006 - TCR expanded its chemical test facility with the addition of the ARL Quantris Optical Emissions Spectrometer (OES) from Thermo Electron Corporation. The Metallography department acquired the Inverted Metallurgical Microscope, GX51, from Olympus Corporation, Japan. TCR also purchased additional PMI machines in this month, the ARCMet 8000 and XMET 3000 TX.

Further Global Expansion
Mar 2006 - TCR initiates aggresive global growth plans. New customers won for outsourcing material testing, inspection and QA services of TCR from Australia, Indonesia and Germany to our laboratory in Navi Mumbai, India.

Feb 2006 - TCR Training Institute is committed to train with knowledge gained over the past 33 years in laboratory services to the metal industry. Expanding Inspection Services
September 2005 - TCR received orders from UK's leading automobile parts supplier for inspection services of goods at their vendor in India. Engineering company in Germany commisioned TCR to inspect pipes in Eastern India. A UK based tools importer sought our inspection team for a Quality Assurance project. KEBS and TCR Engineering
August 2005 - TCR Engineering enhanced QA services can be offered to the importer in Kenya of goods from India. TCR is ISO 17025 approved which meets the guidelines set by the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) for quality audit of pre-shipment inspection of products being sent to Kenya.

Reaching to Global Customers
May 2005 - TCR Engineering Services Material Testing Laboratory had added new global customers from Thailand, Pakistan, and U.K. Outsourcing Material Testing to TCR in India is an attractive proposition both in terms of Quality and Price. TCR also won a large NDT services project from Oil and Natural Gas Commission, India (ONGC).

Bafna, M.D. says, "Information technology is very important for the success of our organization. Jan 2004 - With the establishment of TCR World, USA, international clients can now avail of our innovative service with ISO 17025 standard quality control. Our International Price List, is offered in United States dollar($) and is available for customers in USA, China, Middle-East, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Franchise Model established
Mid-2000 - TCR Engineering initiated a franchisee model to supplement its aggressive growth plans. Our first franchisee is TCR Advanced Engineering in Baroda, India headed by Mr. Paresh Haribhakti, MD.
