The TCR LIMS software has been developed considering ease for the engineers and provides no repetitive input. It’s a windows based GUI program runs on any NT hierarchies OS (Vista, Windows 200, XP, 2003).
To start LIMS double click on program shortcut and login using the assigned credentials.
Select a company name and a calendar year of the data you need to see. In compliance with the ISO 17025 standards, the TCR LIMS software allows users keep separate record of each year in separate database.
On startup the following screen will appear
For first time users, it is important to setup the company details. NABL, A2LA and ISO 17025 formats can be captured at this time.
Users are also advised to setup any test parameters that they need to custom configure in the software at this time.
The Parameter Module contains the basic requirement of the software. It has several categories, which will be used later in other modules. It gives user flexibility to create the desired parameter for a particular test. After creating necessary parameter, you must index it for sequencing purpose; otherwise the data will not be sorted. It is used for the grouping of parameter. At present the chemical parameter in parameter master contains the default content. But through Parameter Groups user can group some of the element and give a name, once the chemical group is selected it will show only those grouped element.
Setting Master contain various aspect which changes the behavior of the system. For e.g. from here pie value can be set either 22/7 or 3.14.
