TCR Engineering Services has position open for a Business Development Manager who is a suitably self-motivated, ambitious individual.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for directing and managing the sales effort for material testing laboratory. You will require setting a strategy with the ultimate aim of increasing market share through expansion of existing services and development of new markets. Existing services will include Materials Testing and Consulting, Failure Analysis, Positive Metal Identification (PMI), Corrosion Testing, Chemical Analysis, Raw Material Inspection Services and Non-destructive Testing for Petrochemical, Defense, Railways, Government, Automotive, Housing, Steel Fabrication and Metal merchants.
The Business Development Manager must build customer loyalty and contribute to margin growth by profitably adding new customers and providing training/technical support to the team. He/She must implement innovative marketing programs with an objective of increasing market share by obtaining new customers and increasing throughput through added sales initiatives to existing customers. The Manager will be responsible for evaluating target markets in specific market segments and developing and presenting sales proposals to clients.

This position is a Manager level and reports to the Director Global Sales. This is a high profile position, and very likely an excellent stepping stone into an inevitable future Management position for the right individual.
The Business Development Manager will maintains and build a client base through sales calls, email, office visits and other means of communication. Assists and support the Director Global Sales in the execution of his/her responsibilities and represents their interests in their absence. Maintains a customer and community database to identify key decision-makers, track sales calls and document customer expectations. Monitor and regularly report on sales goal progress. Plan, budget, monitor, control and report on expenditures in area of responsibility.
Requirements:
The right candidate must be able to demonstrate an entrepreneurial attitude. Bachelor's Degree in Sales or Marketing preferred with preferably 3+ year in NDT , inspection or laboratory testing sales. Demonstrated success in Sales or Marketing with establishes contacts in the industry. Must have demonstrated success in the writing business and sales plans. Must be experienced in managing complex and sensitive issues. Must have knowledge of determining pricing for services. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and E-mail is absolutely required.
Experience in managing complex business relationships, both internal and external, where conflicting priorities of team members must be managed with customer satisfaction as a primary goal. Strong understanding of the company operations to properly support and represent TCR Engineering in a mature and professional manner. Developed oral and written communication skills to meet variety of communication needs (performance reviews, presentations, employee training and development, and leadership). Strong interpersonal skills that foster open upward and downward communication built on mutual respect. Ability to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities. Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events in the community, with customers, and within the company. Ability to travel which will include some overnights.
