Job Overview:
TCR requires engineers for a Plant Shutdown Maintenance project. This is a 2 month project starting 1st of October, 2006 in Kuwait.
Candidates with experience in plant shutdown maintenance in the field of Petrochemcial, Refinery, Fertilizer Sectors need apply. Responsibilities include Supervisory role, QA/QC Inspection, visual inspection, repair work of plant shutdown maintenance. Candidate should be a B.E Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical plus 10 years of experience. Please note we need Graduate Engineers only and hence please do not send CV’s of Diploma candidates. ASNT level II qualification UT/RT/MT is preferred. They must be conversant in NDT and also with latest API/ASME/ANSI/ASTM/TEMA/NACE codes/standards of design, construction, materials and inspection of refinery equipment.
Salary upto US $4000 based on skill level of the candidate. Candidate will be provided standard perks given in Middle-East.

To fuel our continuing growth, one of our clients has contracted us to help recruit qualified Sr. Mechanical Quality Inspection Engineers who have extensive background in quality engineering and inspection.
Candidate Profile:
He/She must have the ability to read blueprints and technical documents. The Sr. Mechanical Quality Inspection Engineer will perform technical reviews and plant assessments for our client and their affiliates through review of drawings and specifications, technical surveys and major equipment reviews to ensure compliance with corporate and international standards. The Sr. Mechanical Quality Inspection Engineer will provide quality assurance, quality control and quality monitoring functions to ensure that all purchased commodities comply with corporate and customer technical standards. His or Her job may also include Performing / Coordinating Quality Control activities on company purchased materials and monitoring activities on contractor issued purchase orders, Assessing capabilities of potential vendors as well as performing proactive inspections through increasing surveys, organizing strategy meetings with the client's Project Management Teams and contractors including Coordinating pre-shipment inspections. Ability to perform job functions with little or no supervision.
Position responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of inspection activities. Key duties include; placement of work orders with Inspection Agencies, performance of material inspection at manufacturers’ workshop, attendance at Pre-Inspection Meetings, and review of technical documentation packages and inspection reports.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have a degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical or any other Engineering subject (We do not require any CV's from candidates who have a diploma, or equivalent technical qualifications), 10 to 15 years Quality Assurance /Quality Control experience working with American National Codes, and a sound practical knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes. Must have prior experience in Oil and gas, Petro-chemical or Fertilizer industry verticals. Saudi Aramco, Petrofac or other Oil and Gas company experience is a plus. He / she should be highly motivated, self driven and an effective communicator, especially in the English language. Good computer literacy is essential for this position. The job may involve travel (in Kuwait or Saudi Arabia) requiring some periods of being several days away from the base location. Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and ensure that the client's QA standards are never compromised. Capable of cross-training department personnel to perform job functions in various inspection areas.
