Overview

TCR Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd. delivers materials testing, NDT and asset integrity from India to buyers in seven operating countries. NABL ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation (NABLT0726MH18640) with ILAC MRA reciprocity gives one report acceptance across 90+ economies, and TCR Arabia in Dammam extends the same standard into Saudi Arabia.

Overview

Seven capability wedges anchor the group's international offering. The seven wedges run across reciprocity, scale, robotics, equipment, capability, talent, and footprint.

Wedge 1, One Report, Global Validity, No Re-Testing (ILAC MRA)

NABL is a signatory to the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation Mutual Recognition Arrangement. The ILAC MRA gives TCR test reports acceptance across 90+ signatory economies without re-testing. The reciprocity covers A2LA (United States), UKAS (United Kingdom), DAkkS (Germany), Cofrac (France), JAB (Japan), KOLAS (Korea), CNAS (China), Standards Australia, ENAC (Spain), Accredia (Italy), and the broader ILAC framework.

For an Indian buyer sourcing material destined for a Saudi Aramco hookup, a UK-North-Sea offshore platform, a Japanese petrochemical complex, or a German auto OEM, the test report is accepted at face value. The reciprocity extends across the group. TCR Arabia in Dammam holds ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation from the International Accreditation Service, testing laboratory TL-783, and IAS is itself an ILAC MRA signatory, so a mechanical or metallurgical report issued in Saudi Arabia carries the same cross-border acceptance as one issued from Navi Mumbai.

The wedge in one sentence. One report. Global validity. No re-testing.

Wedge 2, Specialised Methods at Scale

Three specialism clusters separate TCR from the average lab.

Sour-service corrosion testing. NACE TM0177 Methods A through D; NACE TM0284; NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156; NACE MR0103. Numerous Shell projects executed. PDO and OQGN approved. NACE Excellent Laboratory in the Private Sector award. CTOD with H2S hydrogen pre-charging per ISO 15653, ISO 12135, BS 8571 (96-hour H2S charge plus 20-minute load window) developed for Larsen and Toubro.

Long-duration creep at scale. Six constant-load creep frames at 50 kN, operating up to 1,100 degrees Celsius, with duration capability up to 100,000 hours.

Cryogenic CTOD to negative 70 degrees Celsius for Arctic, cryogenic, LNG bunkering, and floating offshore-wind material qualification.

Wedge 3, Reformer Tube Robotics with Integrated FFS (ARTiS)

ARTiS is TCR-owned. The system carries reformer tube inspection through helical scan with embedded FFS reporting per API 579-1/ASME FFS-1 Part 10 and API 530. 50,000+ reformer tubes scanned cumulatively.

Named international engagements include Dangote Fertilizers Nigeria (2023), Emirates Steel Industries DRP1 and DRP2 Abu Dhabi (2025), JIFCO Jordan (2025), and continuous Indian fertiliser engagements at CFCL, IFFCO, RCF, and GNFC.

The ARTiS paper by Upadhyaya, Haribhakti, Patel, and Bafna (TCR Advanced, 2013-2014) is the published authority anchor.

Wedge 4, Saudi Aramco-Approved Internal RT Crawler with Documented Cost Avoidance

The Saudi Aramco-approved Internal RT Crawler is the marquee robotic-inspection IP in the catalogue.

Wedge 5, Three Scanning Electron Microscopes plus the In-Situ Metallography Bench

Three SEMs sit at TCR Advanced Vadodara: Pemtron SS100, Jeol JCM 6000+, Phenom XL G2 with 60,000x magnification using a CeB6 source. The in-situ metallography programme is anchored by 12 dedicated field teams across the group and a 100,000+ replicated microstructure database that supports same-day replica interpretation at the field site.

The Reliance Industries Jamnagar engagement (1,200 in-situ replicas in 15 days) is the operational benchmark.

Wedge 6, Talent Depth, Not Cost Arbitrage

The India advantage is framed as talent and expertise depth, never cost arbitrage. The senior bench is named, credentialled, and accessible.

The published-author bench at ASM International (Haribhakti, Joshi, Kumar 2018; Haribhakti and Joshi 2021) reaches the integrity-engineering bench in 140+ countries through the two ASM publications.

The peer-style technical papers (NACE Paper No. 09012; the ARTiS paper; the high-temperature RLA paper) and the four foundational TCR white papers (2004 to 2010) extend the publication footprint.

The expert consultant bench at TCR Advanced adds named subject-matter authorities with 30 to 47 years of operating experience (Prof. Awadhesh Kumar Singh, Ashok Kumar Srivastava, Dr. M.M. Pandya, M.N. Patel, Dr. P.B. Joshi, Subrahmanya Bhat, Narendra Kumar Roy, Dinesh Butala, J.N. Agarwal).

Wedge 7, The Operating Footprint
