The proof is printed on the report itself. Five marks, and three steps any reader can take with a phone.

In brief

Every TCR Engineering test report issued under NABL certificate NABLT0726MH18640 carries five marks on every page that let its reader check it without calling anyone: the ULR, the T.C. number, a Code 39 page bar code, a QR code to the digital copy on TCR’s laboratory information system, and a QR code to TCR’s certificate on the NABL portal.

  • Scan the QR code at the footer right and confirm the host is tcr.limsreport.in.
  • Compare the digital copy with the copy in hand.
  • Email sales@tcreng.com quoting the ULR if anything differs.

The five marks on every page

The marks sit in the same places on every page of every report, numbered here as they appear on the drawing.

Drawing of a TCR test report page with five numbered marks: 1 the ULR in the header, 2 the T.C. number beside it, 3 a vertical bar code down the right margin, 4 a QR code at the footer right, 5 a QR code at the footer left beside the NABL and ILAC MRA marks. No client, sample or result is shown.

  1. The ULR, in the header: Every page opens with ULR - NABLT0726MH18640 followed by ten digits. The ULR (Unique Laboratory Report number) ties the report to TCR Engineering’s NABL certificate NABLT0726MH18640.
  2. The T.C. number, beside it: The test certificate number is printed beside the ULR. It is the number to quote in any correspondence about the report.
  3. A bar code down the right margin: A vertical Code 39 bar code on every page encodes the T.C. number, the page number and the page count. It is a page-integrity mark, not a link: it shows that every page belongs to the same certificate and that none is missing.
  4. A QR code at the footer right: It opens the digital copy of that report on TCR’s laboratory information system, at the host tcr.limsreport.in. The digital copy is the reference: a paper or PDF copy that differs from it has been altered, and a code that opens any other host did not come from TCR.
  5. A QR code at the footer left, with the accreditation marks: It opens TCR’s certificate and scope record on the NABL portal, at the host nablwp.qci.org.in, so the accreditation can be checked at source. Beside it, every page carries the NABL mark with the certificate number NABLT0726MH18640, the ILAC MRA mark and the form number TCR/QF/5101.

How to check a report in three steps

A reader needs a phone camera and the report. TCR never confirms report contents by telephone to a third party.

  1. Scan the QR code at the footer right with any phone camera, and check that the address that opens is tcr.limsreport.in.
  2. Compare the report on screen with the copy in hand: the ULR, the T.C. number, the dates and the results.
  3. If anything differs, or a code does not open, email sales@tcreng.com quoting the ULR.
